I have tried with little success to use the Google Adwords product. I thought it might be a great way to drive targeted traffic to my websites at a reasonable cost. Well most every time I have tried this I end up with $1, $2, $5, and more minimum click costs? I understand that is this is supposed to be telling me that my content or keyword is not relevant but how is runnings ads for widget not relevant when your site is about widgetsonline?

    Maybe I am missing something.

I recently saw that Google is having some Seminar for Success programs for Adwords throughout the county. Has anyone went to one of these? Is is something that may be of interest to you? How are you using Adwords. Please feel free to comment and let me know what you think.

I am a SEO Loser and have not yet made it to one of the big SEO/Webmaster Conferences, but this post is for those of you who have attended Pubcon, SES, AdTech, Affiliate Summit or any of the other conferences directed towards our industries.

Are the conferences worth the money you spent in travel, hotels, time away from your business, or other expenses? Do you think there is a direct or indirect return on your investment and if so how long until you see this return?

If there is one tip you could share with us Loser SEO types from the recent Pubcon in Vegas, what would it be?

I look forward to your comments.
